Well here's some news. Nintendo apparently is developing a SNES classic and will be releasing the console for development around holiday of this year. This news comes from Eurogamer, who has had a pretty astounding track record thus far in the past year with correct predictions of the Nintendo Switch specs as well as an exclusive Project Scorpio reveal via Digital Foundry. The news is a bit confusing, of course, as Nintendo very publicly ceased production of the NES classic worldwide despite massive demand for the console. We originally had assumed that Nintendo had ceased production to focus all manpower on the Nintendo Switch, but it appears that assumption is wrong. We'll keep you informed as we know more.
SNES Classic reportedly in the works (because of course it is)

But if an SNES Classic is really coming, to recreate the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and its legendary 16-bit library, well then Nintendo had better do this right. Of course, it should pack in all the classic games. But here's what else it should have.
YESSSSSS...of course capitalism is king so we'll have to wait and see if other retailers will follow suit. Considering the madhouse that was the launch of the NES Classic, any store wary that demand for this console will not be high surely has to realize they'll sell just as many consoles if they follow suit and offer the same restrictions to their customers. Are you planning on trying to get an SNES classic or have you already given up?
Additionally, the service will reportedly merge PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, with plans to "retain the PlayStation Plus branding but phase out PlayStation Now". If you didn't know, the former works similarly to Xbox Live Gold, while the latter is essentially the closest thing PlayStation has to Game Pass for the time being.
