Nintendo 3ds Serial Number Invalid: A Guide to Finding and Entering the Correct Code



If you have received a message similar to the ones displayed below when trying to install your product, stating the serial number you are using is invalid, or has been revoked, it is because the serial number you are attempting to use has been blocked by Adobe.


Adobe blocks serial numbers that have not been issued by Adobe, or have been used fraudulently by unauthorized sellers to produce counterfeit software. Unfortunately, you may only know the serial number has been blocked for this reason when re-activating or reinstalling Adobe software.

If your serial number is for a different language than the installation language you select (for example, you purchased a German Creative Suite, but attempt to install it in English), you will get an invalid serial number error. Reinstall the product, choose the correct language, and enter the serial number when prompted.


The Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool is designed to run after you uninstall your Adobe application. Run the appropriate uninstaller to remove the application producing the invalid serial number error first, and then run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.


You receive the message "invalid serial number" when trying to activate the program.When you run the program and it asks if you want to activate (or register and activate) this means you have installed the program as a standalone.There are a couple things that can cause this message:1) The serial number is encoded as a network version. Network versions will not ask you to activate.


To change the serial number, product key or install as a network version you will need to:1) Uninstall2) Reboot3) Install as a network version (see the network administrator guides on the DVD or within the downloaded media) and enter the correct serial number and product key.


2) The serial number has been upgraded. You can have this same error as you should remove the older version after upgrading. If you are on subscription you may still be able to run it. If you're trying to activate the upgrade then you may be using an old serial number. Contact Autodesk at 800-551-1490 to find out if you are using the correct serial number and product key.


In addition to a report from an employee, Autodesk can obtain deployment data through authorization checks built into the software. Not only does Autodesk likely have a record of the installation on the network, it is possible that the serial numbers may trigger an audit if they are known to be illegitimate. However, much older versions of Autodesk software may not have the same type of reporting, so it is possible Autodesk may not be aware of these installations unless they were properly registered and recorded with Autodesk when purchased.


Tried installing the software and I could not proceed with both the installations when it install program asked for a 'serial number'. Checking on the install CD and the box I found at least 5 sets of numbers but any one of them if I used as a serial number gives me an error message a pop-up window with...


Have you tried submitting a support request using the form linked below? You won't need to supply a serial number to request help and support should be able to sort this out for you very quickly. This is the best way to request assistance with problems like this.


Yes this is very frustrating. I have the same too-much-monkey-business with the iClone serial numbers - I got two different SN - and if one writes to the company, a machine sends funny e-mails but does not actually correct the errors... I think here is something wrong with this system. The machines have obviously taken the lead... and force us to click here... go there... read this... answer that....

Based on what you have said, I'm not sure why you have two serial numbers but the correct serial number will have a layout as I have described in my post above. If you copy and paste it from the email you received (Pro or Standard) then it should be accepted.


Why should WE now write filling pages in order to get another experience disappointment instead of a SN that works? Do they not trust us? Are we some extreme dangerous and also perfidious serial-number terrorists? Yes? No?


It is not correct, if YOU just take our money and after that, WE must explain what has happend with YOUR silly SN-system. Do you understand what I mean? We want SERVICE ! We need a new standard of comfort.... we need serial numbers that work.


Is there anything in the works to make resetting your serial number easier? When I had to reconfigure the windows side of my MacBook Pro I almost had a scare there and I think it would make life easier if something like that would happen.


No, Student Edition serial numbers are version specific. Hence, it is not possible to install other versions with the same serial number. You can only install the version entitled by your serial number.


Please contact the online store/reseller from whom you have purchased the Student Edition license. They can provide you with information regarding your serial numbers and/or any questions related to your order process.

Hence, this warning will be given if the serial number used for installation is not entitled to the version selected during installation (mismatch). From the download drop/down list, make sure to select the entitled version (the version you purchased) and then download and install again.


Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2019-2020, add-on products like CAM, Composer, Electrical, Simulation, Flow Simulation, etc. are included under the CAD serial number itself. You are not required to input serial numbers separately to install these products. Just enter the serial number for CAD; all other fields should be empty and deselected.
